Bored…Humor and You Tube

As you know i am away from home and here i don’t have much to do except watch YouTube Videos on the DSL or read news on BBC or CNN Websites , and i have not been able to Micro Blog here on Micro Diary or on Pownce or Jaiku for a week or two and since then there has been nothing new or interesting to blog about and i think this Post will also be boring lol but to kill boredom i have also been viewing Videos on the College Humor Website as well as watching Videos on You Tube, while visiting You Tube also found some interesting news that The Queen Has Launched here own Channel on You Tube read it on BBC while you can see The Royal Channel Here which contains The Queen’s Christmas Message and Historical Footage of the Monarch and The Royal Family.

Nokia Internet Radio

I been hunting for nice application for my N95 8gb for a few days and i have just found about this New Application from Nokia named Internet Radio it does what it says using this application you can listen to different Internet Radio Stations through your mobile via the Internet , i thought this wont work because my GPRS is too slow but surprisingly it works with 32kbs streaming and another surprise was that the Top Station in the application was a Bollywood Internet Radio Station playing Indian Songs but to be honest there aren’t a lot of Radio Stations because its still in Beta , i am sure more will be added on Later. Spider Man 3

Today Power was out so i thought may be i should put my new N95 8gb to the Test and watched the Spider Man 3 Movie which came with it , watched it in Landscape mode and surprisingly the battery lasted that long it was full when i started watching but after that i used the web for half an hour and then it was on standby for 2 more hours but after that it started giving me warnings.

Yeti Footprints

It seems some US TV Presenter has found a series of Yeti footprints in Nepal , don’t know if real or not I just read it on BBC the first print was a “pristine” right paw mark, 33 cm (13 inches) long, with five toes in a wide spread of 25 cm.We need Photographic Proof of the Yeti ! i do believe there can be a creature like Yeti as we haven’t seen every inch of this World and even now a days some new things come up which completely surprise the people so why cant there be an undiscovered creature like the Yeti !

BBC Schedule

I love the BBC, the past month i think has been a great month with a lot of nice Comedy and Drama’s which i really liked these are the a few programs i recall from the month of November, One f my favorite drama from November is Waterloo Road then there is the Medical Drama Bodies , Blackpool.These are the only ones i can remember as you know BBC here in Asia (Pakistan) has a different name BBC Prime and may be a different schedule too from the BBC in UK, The new schedule of December includes some good Comedy and Drama’s as always Comedy like The Vicar of Dibley and Drama’s like Rebus a must watch Jan Eyre and Sorted.

Mobile Code or QR Code

In the N95 i found a builtin Barcode Reader so i thought i should blog about it, In the old days there used to be barcodes which were mainly used by companies or retail shops but now there is another type of codes called Mobile Code(Datamatrix codes) or QR Code which now a days are used to encode: a website link, some text, or a phone number to dial and that encoded code can then be scanned by the Camera of a mobile phone for eg you encode your URL link and publish that generated code on your website or print it they can also be used to skip the typing of long links so that you can generate a QRcode for a long link and read that code with your mobile phone and you can just point your browser to the link without typing.If your mobile has a camera but doesn’t comes with a Barcode Reader you can Get a Bar Code Reader Here or Generate Mobile Code or QR Code Here.

Lifeblog post

Got a Nokia N95-8gb now trying to set up its LifeBlog feature so i can psot to MicroDiary from the builtin LifeBlog feature,I had to install some php files on my Wordpress installation to make the LifeBlog feature work and now finally i can post from N95 to Wordpress using the LifeBlog feature ill Post the whole detailed process soon.

Mobile Phone Wanted

I am looking for a new mobile phone , I mostly need it to check my emails , post on my blog and do other web related stuff mostly and the second thing is the camera so i can take photos on the go ,to be honest i am a fan of Sony Ericsson and i have tried most of there phones and they are great with the most built in features than any other company but i hate to admit that Sony Ericsson phones doesn’t have a lot of 3rd Party Applications which are necessary to fully enjoy your Smart Phone.
